Doug Southen sent this photo of himself enjoying retirement a while ago - he called it fat, dumb and happy- I'm not so sure about the dumb and fat part, but he looks pretty happy!

Guardhouse Blather

Fred and Trish, Hello from sunny Moose Jaw!! All is well here although somewhat colder than Esquimalt!! understandable about the old Guardhouse and spam. Hopefully this will work out! Question though...what about the printed GH?? I sent in a subscription after I took over here as Wg PM and haven't seen a printed copy to date. Again, hope this works out and I look forward to posts from all the rest of the old Branch gang...

Securitas. Stay Safe.

Welcome to the Guardhouse Blog

Hi folks:

Well, it has been some time since I actually did any work on the Guardhouse. I took a year off because work just got crazy and then when I went back to it I found that spammers had literally jammed up my guestbook etc with their junk. I've been thinking that the Blog might be a better way to go, since all of you can post your thoughts, base events, photos, etc., and they will be shared with the MP community. You can post your thoughts on topics and any members can respond. Let's give this a go and see what happens. I have kept the old site, just in case the blog is found to be unsuitable by all members, but let's give it a shot.
The floor is open to all of you.
